I’m Sara, an avid stitcher from way back when . . .  I love all kinds of needle crafts:  crocheting, knitting, quilting, cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, sewing, and am always trying out new techniques and new crafts as I go.  I’m a mother and grandmother, so I look for designs that I can give to my family and they can enjoy.  I tend to only design or create something that I would truly feel good about.  I am always open to suggestions though, so feel free to comment anywhere. 

I love to study history!  I know I know, it’s boring … but I’m not so I make history fun!!!  I look for fashion and textile methods when I study history, so I can “marry” my love of crafts with my love of history. 

I have two four-legged children now.  Corky, a long-haired black/tan dachshund, and Cyndar Ellah (aka Cyndar, a red long-hair dachshund) that my roommate spoiled hehe.  I hold her totally to blame.  Both dogs talk back … so if you get a dog because they “won’t talk back,” guess again!  LOL  They make home life fun though.
